Bart van Dongen is a composer, musician and concept artist. In 2007 he won Brouwerij Cultuurprijs of the city 's-Hertogenbosch. He founds Club Risico, PlayLab and Klub KOE. The themes of his projects search continue for new music or new sounds. Regulary his works are performed at different festivals. Van Dongen was the artistic leader for BEAM (Brabants Ensemble Actuele Muziek). June 12th Van Dongen’s composition ‘Tijd’ (‘Time’) debutes in Amsterdam. This music piece is written for chamber choir, piano, classical drums, solo soprano, flute and bricks and barrow. Van Dongen also wrote the lyrics. During Lichtenbergese Rites festival (as part of Intro In Situ) VocaalLab performs the music piece ”Alle Vogels Stil” (‘All Birds Quiet’).
