Bruno Nelissen studied guitar and composition at Fontys conservatory in Tilburg. He also took classes by Peter Swinnen. Nelissen cofounded Mr. Probe and is a member of Zwerm. As guitarist he featured in performances Volume 1 (Cluster klankcollectief) and Moskou-Petoesjki (Kameroperahuis Zwolle). His compositions are performed by Quatuor Danel, VocaalLab Nederland, Quink Vocal Ensemble, Egidius Kwartet and de Volharding. Nelissen won the Berliner Opernpreis (Neukoellner Oper) and Anjer Muziekprijs. At this time he is composing an opera with lyricist Johannes Westendorp.
