Yvonne started playing the violin at the age of seven. She studied viola and violin at the conservatory of Amsterdam, Brussels and Tilburg. She toured around the world with various artist, ensembles and projects. Yvonne plays very many musical styles like classical, pop, jazz, latin, lounge and R&B. As Vala Linn she plays as solo artist with many Dj’s.
The last two years she played with Blof (nwe Luxor), Guus Meeuwis (5 editions of Groots), Pete Philley and Perquisite (Dutch tour), Gino Vanelli (Dutch tour), Daniel Johnston (European tour), DasPop (Belgian tour), Caro Emerald (HmH), Vrienden van Amstel live and much more. Yvonne participated in various recordings of many artists. Currently she is teaching at the School of Arts in Tilburg. She has her own string quartet and a piano trio.
In 2000 she started STRIJKT, an agency for strings. From small classical trio's or quartets in small restaurants to big string orchestra's in football stadiums; it;s all there. She manages this company succesfully for over ten years now and her clients are the big booking agencies and studio's as well as various artists.
